    Hi there…..
I am the daughter of Eddie Cletro (Flyin Saucer Boogie), and just wanted to say thank you for the mention of dad and his song. He would have loved that.
He sang and played his beloved country western songs right up to end of his life. He passed away in Feb., at the age of 93 and I miss him so much.
But feel blessed to have the music he left behind to remind me of the great life he lived.

    Thank you,
    Diane Cletro-Johnson

Hi Diane, thanks for commenting on the blog. I host a country music show in Seattle and your Dad’s music has been played pretty regularly over the years. He was the real deal. I’m sorry to hear that he passed away. But, like you said, he sure blessed us with a lot of great music.

If you’re ever interested in sharing some stories about him and growing up the daughter of a honky tonk singer for the blog or for the radio let me know.

  2. I think about how important it is to keep country music alive with so many genres of music available to all ages. I don’t mind sharing a link from ‘The Real Mr.Heartache’ if it is going to do some good for the Indstry. I appreciate tuning in and listening to the ‘Masters of Country & Western’, after all, music we hear on the radio started from grass roots.
