The Goose & Gander: Molly Tenenbaum

Molly Tenenbaum, one of old-time music’s finest clawhammer banjo players is back with her second solo album, “The Goose and Gander.” It’s a wonderful collection of traditional songs and a showcase for the frailing style on banjo. Molly’s voice is earthy and warm, and her licks are furious and freewheeling. Molly also happens to live right here in Seattle, giving us the chance to see her live, say on Monday, November 15 at the Tractor Tavern’s square dance benefiting Northwest Folklife. The dance will
feature the Queen City Bulldogs, with Charmaine Slaven calling, and
The Atlas String Band, with Gabe Strand calling.
